The Descent
The Corruptor's true form lies in the Heart of the Void. Six layers of reality stand between here and there. Each layer must be cleared before the next opens.
The Corruptor
The Corruptor is not a being. It is the antithesis of creation - the primordial darkness that resisted the gods' shaping of reality. It cannot be killed by normal means. Only the Voidheart Crystal can unmake it.
The Forge Tyrant
The Forge Tyrant was once the gods' greatest smith. He forged the seals that hold creation together. When the Corruptor touched him, he turned. Now he forges weapons of unmaking -- tools designed to unravel the seals he once created. He knows every seal, every weakness. He is the most dangerous being in this layer.
The Seals of Creation
The seals hold reality together. They were forged here, in the Primal Forge, by the gods themselves. Each seal is a knot in the fabric of creation -- untie it, and reality unravels. The Forge Tyrant is untying them, one by one. If he shatters the remaining seals, creation will undo itself. Not destroyed -- unmade. As if it never was.
What the Gods Made
The gods made the world from the Void. They shaped it, sealed it, and left. They didn't abandon us -- they left because the making was done. The seals would hold. The celestials would guard. Mortals would live. It was a good plan. But the Corruptor was part of the Void -- the part that resisted creation. It has been working against the plan since the beginning. The Forge Tyrant is its instrument. You are its counter.
The Prophecy
The anvil remembers every hammer. There is a verse about six lights gathered from the deep places -- the Forge has waited an age for the one who would carry all of them. It has opinions about your timing.
